This special issue aims to capture evidence-based insights into how AI technologies are currently being implemented and evaluated in real educational contexts.

    Dear Colleagues and Friends,

    We warmly congratulate you on the New Year and wish the academic community continued success, inspiration, and productive research in the year ahead. May this year bring new ideas, meaningful collaborations, and impactful scholarly achievements.
    We are pleased to announce the publication of Issue 27 of Advanced Education. The issue includes 1 editorial and 7 research articles, authored by scholars from Ukraine, North Macedonia, Indonesia, Slovakia, and Turkey.
    The articles address a broad range of contemporary educational themes, encompassing higher education and student learning, language education and L2 writing, AI in education and society, as well as university policy and equity, with a focus on inclusivity in Ukrainian higher education institutions.
    We invite our readers to explore the new issue and hope the published research will contribute to further academic discussion and innovation in education.

  • Issue 26 and journal metrics

    We’re delighted to share that Issue 26 (2025) of Advanced Education has been published. This issue synthesizes research across language teaching and translation, examining classroom uses of machine translation, AI writing tools, and language practices in digital spaces; it also addresses broader questions in education, including research integrity in the AI era, conceptions of creativity, civic and professional formation in teacher education, and the realities of distraction in higher education.
