Saeed Safdari is a PhD candidate in TEFL at Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran, Iran. He has taught in a few higher education institutes for 10 years. He has published some books and presented several papers at national conferences. His main areas of interest are individual differences and L2 motivation.

Parviz Maftoon is associate professor of teaching English at Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran, Iran. He received his Ph.D. degree from New York University in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. His primary research interests concern second language acquisition, SL/FL language teaching methodologies, and language curriculum development. He has published nationally and internationally and written and edited a number of English books. He is currently on the editorial board of several language journals in Iran.
